How does billing work?

Here’s an overview of how Hashlabs bills for hosting services.

1. Monthly prepayment

We bill hosting services on a one-month prepayment basis.

This means you pay in advance for your expected power consumption for the upcoming month.

2. How the prepayment is calculated

The monthly prepayment is based on:

  • The number of machines you host

  • Each machine’s nameplate power draw

  • The agreed hosting rate

This gives us an estimated power consumption for the month.

3. Monthly settlement

After the month ends, we calculate your actual power consumption.

  • If actual usage was lower than prepaid → the difference is credited on your next invoice

  • If actual usage was higher than prepaid → the difference is debited on your next invoice

This settlement ensures that you are only paying for actual consumption.

4. Invoicing timeline

  • Invoices are typically issued around the 7th of each month

  • Payment is due 5 days before the end of the month

Each invoice includes:

  • Prepayment for the upcoming month

  • Settlement of the previous month’s consumption

5. Invoice sender & security

Invoices are sent only from: billing@hashlabs.io

If you ever receive an invoice claiming to be from Hashlabs from any other email address, do not pay it and contact us immediately. Unfortunately, invoice fraud is common in the industry, and we want to ensure your payments are always secure.

6. Detailed consumption breakdown

Along with each invoice, we include an Excel file showing:

  • Your prepayment calculation

  • Settlement of the previous month

  • Power consumption broken down per machine

This allows you to fully verify how your invoice is calculated at the machine level.
